Who is Anne Tuckley.....

I'm a small town girl raised in Missouri.  I attended William Woods University with a BFA art and illustration, was on the Collegiate Government Association and Social Chair for Delta Gamma Fraturnity.  During college I spent my summers in New York and the East coast which influenced my love of fashion.  After graduation,  I took a job as a flight attendant based out of New York.  I married my English husband Paul and gave up flying. Started work as a Chanel handbag consultant followed by working as retail manager in the clothing industry. In that time, I began modeling in New York and Philadelphia.  After living in New York, Houston, Chicago, St. Louis and Philadelphia, we moved  to Missouri to be closer to my family. I put my art skills to work as a faux painter, decorator and architectural and fashion illustrator, as well as,  selling real estate.
In 2004, Anne Tuckley Home was established and has been going strong ever since.  I have designed hundreds of new construction, remodels, commercial spaces, fraternities, galas and events.
I have also styled for the Miss America pageant contestants, provided executive wardrobing, home and lifestyle styling, and have styled the covers and articles of several industry publications, and am a monthly contributer to Como Living magazine "What the Pros Know" and filmed with HGTV.  2 years ago, I opened my studio and Anne Tuckley Home Store.

I have served on the Columbia Art League, Miss Missouri Pageant, Chair of American Heart Associations  Circle of Red and Go red for Women, Museum of Art and Archeology Boards and currently sit on the Advisory Board for Great Circle. I serve as Chairperson for Diamond Night, A Storybook Gala every fall.

In my free time I enjoy  drawing, visiting art museums, girlfriends, food and wine, yoga, traveling, and most of all spending time with husband Paul and son William.

Who is Nikki Burton...

Believe it or not, I grew up a shy small town girl, it wasn’t until my family and I moved to Chicago that I truly started to find myself.

I was born and raised in a small town in Southern Illinois, my parents, older than most kids parents, three older sisters, and an older brother, each grown and on their own by the time I could talk.   I am what you call a happy accident, and pretty much grew up as an only child.   We moved to Chicago in the early 90’s, I quickly fell in love with the art, culture, and freedom of expression this city had to offer.  Chicago had the most amazing stores too!  Ever since I was a little girl, wearing my plastic pink high heels, I loved fashion, make up, and of course jewelry!  I always dreamed of having a little boutique one day where I could share my love of beautiful things with others.

My Dad retired my senior year of high school, he decided to move my mother and I to his hometown of Jackson, MO. Population 12,000!!! Such a culture shock to move back to a small town after living in one of the greatest cities there is.  The move was a good thing though, after high school, I decided on college at Southeast Missouri State University, it was during my college career, I met and fell in love with my husband Cole.

Cole and I married in 2004, it was truly love at first site, we dated for six months, and married a year later.  We welcomed our baby girl Harlow into the world in 2008, our son Lake followed close behind in 2010.  My life is filled with so much chaos and joy each day.  Cole and I moved to Columbia in 2012 for is career, we fell madly in love with this town.  Columbia is our home, my kids keep me busy with basketball, Girls on the Run, karate, and swim.  When were not busy with sports, were chasing three dogs (Bubba Joe, Doodle Bug, and Emery) along with two Guinea Pigs (Hershey and Squirt) around the house.

My professional career has been in banking the past 12 years, I loved my job, however I wanted to break out of the corporate environment. I have been working for Anne Tuckley Home as the Project Coordinator. My responsibilities are client communication, financial organization, social media, operations management, and PR. I also own the Nest Boutique, a jewelry and accessories shop located at Southport Marketplace.
